April Goals!

I know we're almost half way into April and I forgot to post my goals for the month.
Whoops.

So, without further ado, here they are!

I can already cross off one of the BIG ONES OF THIS YEAR!!!

My little blog just got a massive face lift, a new home at Wordpress, a professional domain name and I am loving everything about it.
Check it out!

The Most Interesting Women in the World

If you follow this blog or know me personally, you know that Mrs. Dorothy Deavers means an awful lot to me. In short, she is the mother of one of my theater teachers, Edward Deavers, who passed away in February of 2010. But it's a much longer story than that...

In fact, I think it's high time to officially introduce you to a few more ladies who mean a lot to me...

That's me on the left, followed by my Mom, Cathy (but you can call her C), Robbin, Elsa, Dorothy and Kim (that's Queen Tucker to you!) The ladies change every now and then, depending on who can come! Our other members (Aunt Elizabeth, Tracy and Marie) couldn't make this one.

I guess we've been getting together since August or September? We try to get together once a month, more often if we can help it, just to get Mrs. Deavers out of the house and doing something fun with the girls! We go to movies, plays, and always out to dinner.

I don't really know how this all got started. Queen Tucker, Robbin and I all were visiting Mrs. Deavers separately and then I guess we just decided to go together! One fateful night, the four of us were sitting at Chili's and they were about ready to kick us out we stayed so late! We started making jokes like, "stay hungry my friends!" "stay adventurous my friends" and that just progressed into us calling ourselves, "The Most Interesting Women in the World!"

Aren't they gorgeous?

I know Mrs. Deavers sure enjoys our get togethers and the ladies love catching up! I love it because I am close friends with the kids of all these Drama Mamas and even thought we don't go to the same school anymore (and some of us aren't in the same city) I still feel connected to them. Also, these ladies have become my close friends and adopted Mamas! Except for the one that is my actual mother, of course. I learn so much from them every time we get together. We are of different ages and come from different backgrounds but Mr. Deavers brought us together and his mother is keeping us together. It really is a beautiful thing.

Speaking of beauty,

The shirts for Mr. Deavers came in. She got the first one!

I am so blessed to have all these women in my life. I love them all so very much.
Stay interesting my friends!
